Our core faculty have expertise
in areas of Women's Studies connected to literature, cultural
studies, history, sociology, anthropology, political science,
and philosophy.
The associated faculty of Women's Studies represent most
of the departments of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences
as well as other schools within Emory, including Anthropology,
Art History, Comparative Literature, English, Film Studies,
History, the Institute of Liberal Arts, Philosophy, Psychology,
Religion, Sociology, Spanish, Public Health, Theology and Law.
Both core and associated faculty teach Women’s
Studies courses and serve on dissertation committees.
The
administrative duties of the office are handled by
the Chair of Women’s Studies, the Academic Department Administrator,
and both Undergraduate and Graduate Program Coordinators.
